1431 AH could not be seen this evening (Tuesday, August 10, 2010) in
Yogyakarta Indonesia, because the weather was overcast and the moon
altitude is still below 3 degrees above the west horizon.
However, The Indonesian Government in this case the Ministry of Religious Affairs
announced the beginning of a Ramadhan 1431 AH is on Wednesday, 11
August 2010, after confirmation hearing. Until now rukyat report
obtained at two places i.e. at Porbolingo and Gresik, where the moon can
be seen."
